Valentine Hollingsworth Sr. was the first Hollingsworth to come over to the "new world" in 1682. He came over with William Penn and helped him draft the Pennsylvania Charter. Valentine accuired just shy of 1000 acres in Pennsylvania during this time. See links below to learn more about Valentine and the decendents that are now in the United States.

Decendants of Valentine Hollingsworth Sr., by J. Adger Stewart, 1925 (John P. Morton & Company, Inc. - Louisville, KY).
This document is the whole book that shows most of the possible connections for Valentine Hollingsworth. The importance of Valentine is that he was the one that brought this Hollingsworth tree over from Ireland. There is also some sites that say he is part of royalty. So, you could very well be a distant prince or princess. More on Valetine Hollingsworth can be found at the Hollingsworth Society Website (www.DVHSS.org) or FamilyTreeDNA.com. There are also various other websites that are related to the Hollingsworths. The above faimly crest is that of the Valentine line, which has been slightly modified to each Hollingsworth branches (most of them look simular or the same from what I've seen).

Valentine Hollingsworth is said to have come over with William Penn, and even help draft the Pennsylvania Charter.
